Three-time Canadian Olympic swimmer (2000, 2004, 2008) and the most decorated swimmer in Canadian university sport history with 33 individual gold medals for UBC. He set a world record in the short-course 400m individual medley (4:02.72) in 2003 and was a finalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 400m IM. After retiring, he became head coach of Vancouver Pacific Swim Club.
